Toyota Car Ramstad AS is a private company founded and owned by the family Harald Engen. The firm has its roots back to 1963 where Harald Engen started his own body shop. The name Ramstad Bil AS was born in February 1972, with four employees, then as Audi dealer. From June 1974 were written agreement with imortør FE Dahl and Co. on the sale of Toyota. And a new era had begun. The first year it sold 36 new cars.
Toyota Ramstad Bil AS has been through several development periods, from the start in 1972 of 300 m2 floor area and 4 employees, to the current 5200 m2 floor area and 32 employees. Last construction was in 2003 when a new dealership opened in Askim.
